Biography:
Joan Lok came to America from Hong Kong in 1983 after winning an international cultural exchange scholarship. Her unique Asian brush painting is featured in North Light’s “The Best of Flower Painting” and “Stroke of Genius.” She is the National President of the Sumi-e Society of America and is honored in Who’s Who in American Art. Lok has received numerous awards, teaches workshops across the country and exhibits her artwork internationally. Her new book “Ancient Spirit Modern Flair – The Art of Joan Lok” is being published in April, 2009. Visit her Web site, www.radiantbrush.com.
