Biography:
Donna Yeager, a native of Kansas City, Kansas, is an award-winning artist and highly-respected art instructor. She has been teaching workshops, weekly classes, and Plein Air paint-out trips for several years. Her work has been featured in the Pastel Journal as well as the Artist's Magazine. Yeager's painting entitled "Beyond Compare," a portrait of her daughter Danielle, was the Grand Prize winner at the Learning and Product Expo in 2007. Yeager works in a colorful and painterly fashion with strong drawing, value and color skills. Her teaching style is easy and inclusive. She works with each student individually, addressing each person's painting needs. She always starts the class with a demonstration and her classes are as well-suited for the beginner as for the seasoned artist. Yeager has been working as a Learning and Product Expo teacher since its beginning.
