Biography:
Chris Cozen, Working Artist for Golden Artist Colors, Inc., is a mixed-media artist who teaches throughout Southern California. Her classes explore the range of possibilities available to artists with Acrylic paints and products. Her recent online classes have opened up her territory, making her expertise and enthusiasm for materials available to a wider audience. She has exhibited in California, Florida, Tennessee and France over the past several years and her works are held in numerous private collections. Cozen is an experienced instructor with an enthusiastic following. Her hands-on style and fearless approach to questions and explorations make her an ideal instructor for both experienced and beginning students. Cozen is also the author of three popular "how-to" guides for Acrylic Techniques: "Altered Surfaces", 2008; "Transfers & Altered Images", 2009; and "Mixed Media & Color", 2010.
